North Pacific Director
NAFA

I started falconry in 1973 while growing up in Colorado. My master falconer was the late Jon Mousel. While in Colorado I flew almost all of the then available falconry species. Kestrels, merlins, Prairie falcons, Coopers hawks and Red tailed hawks. I moved to Alaska in 1982 and obtained my Alaskan falconry permit in 1984. I have mostly flown gyrfalcons at waterfowl here in the Anchorage bowl. Recently (the last eight seasons) I have been flying a female, Russian goshawk on waterfowl. I appreciate being a part of the Alaska Falconers Association!

As the standing NAFA director if there is anything I can help with in that or any other falconry related issues please feel free to contact me.
